A passion for creativity and problem solving combined with the desire to create safe, warm and inviting spaces led Berni to Century College where she completed the Interior Design program.  She graduated with a BA in Business Management, and a minor in Economics and Psychology, from Augsburg College.  Berni opened Interiors by Berni in 2006 when she and her husband, Randy, moved to the St Cloud area. 

Textures, colors, furniture styles, architecture and photography have always intrigued Berni.  Enjoyment comes from helping people understand how one or all of these elements can be fused together to create a particular feeling in a room, home, or business.  And how the overall affect of the design gives people a glimpse into who you are… warm and caring; fun-loving; efficient; practical, etc.

Berni and Randy also own and operate New Century Real Estate.  When working with home sellers, Interiors by Berni can provide recommendations for de-personalizing the space(s) while maintaining a warm and inviting feeling.  With an eye for design and furniture placement, Berni is able to effectively stage her clients’ homes so they sell faster and for more money.
